Hello there. I have a problem with my hp office jet pro 9015. It shows a message to align the head, to what I press yes, and then shows a blue screen with the error code B815835A and bluetooth-touchscreen buttons/power light blinking alternatively...

I searched on the web and says I need to perform a semi full reset, but it is imposible to do it using the back button method because once I press on it, it goes back to the head alignment screen... What should I do?

Hi @Daniel-MC,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how frustrating it is when your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 gets stuck in a loop with a blue screenerror code B815835A, and blinking lights, especially when the usual reset methods don’t work. Let’s walk through a solution that can help you recover your printer.

Since the back button method doesn’t work, try this alternate approach:

1. Disconnect and Wait

  • Unplug the printer from power while it’s still on
  • Wait at least 60 seconds

2. Reconnect with Button Combination

  • While plugging the printer back in, press and hold:
    • Power + Cancel + Wireless buttons (hold for 10–15 seconds)
  • This may trigger a semi-full reset or bypass the error loop

⚠️ If this doesn’t work, try Power + Back + Wireless or Power + Cancel + Color Copy depending on your model’s button layout.

If That Fails: Use the HP Firmware Recovery Tool

HP offers a recovery utility for printers stuck in firmware loops:

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
