Just downloaded 10.11.6 and latest HP drivers and printing errors started: "cgpdf toraster unsupported colorspace", then same with "...colorspace = 18" and then "unable to startup session = -10", then a print job in the Q did nothing when I hit print. HP chat and Apple web site did not help. Printer prints a test page and HP scan works yet nothing when I try to print a PDF or Word.docx.

I did all that and more twice so I reinstalled El Capitan and still nothing. Next, I installed a new operating system (Sierra) and now everything works fine.

@akbw,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to print pdf or word document from your HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer.

This issue could occur if the Adobe Reader is not updated.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Cannot Print PDFs from Adobe Reader

Also, you may try resetting the printing system from the link: Resetting the Printing System (Mac)

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
