I’m also having this issue on an Officejet Pro 9015. Any help would be appreciated!

@Oldmanlubens, Welcome to HP Support Community!

We can try to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!

I am also getting this error - every time I print. I called HP and they said it was bc my printer was not powered through a power/surge protector. I have done this and am still getting this error code.

Clearly this is a major issue.  I am having the same blue screen of death on my computer with the Error B305DFF9.    Is there a permanent fix?  How do i do a factory reset.

Thanks.

@BluDoc

Are you using the same model HP OfficeJet Pro 9025?

Have you already performed the Troubleshooting steps suggested by the other Users?

Hi. Same issue on an HP Office Jet PRO 9018; would you please send the reset procedure?

Thanks!

Hi, I'm also getting the B305DFF9 error message. Have tried unplugging, waiting, and replugging, which makes the printer work for a while -- sometimes days or weeks, but sometimes more often, and today it's been happening within an hour. Mine is an HP Officejet Pro 9015. Can someone send me the factory reset instructions?

HP Recommended

No it’s an 9018.   If this is a Hardware issue it’s pervasive.

Is there something special about 9018s that makes that makes them unfixable compared to the other 90xx series printers on here?
