I have a HP OfficeJet 4652. I am getting the message Remove and Reinstall Ink Cartridge Message on both color and black ink. I've tried all of the suggestion on this 13 page forum with no luck. This seems to be a common problem. What is the solution?
Thank you.

Hi @nbkc
If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Hope this helps!

@steveorr, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Which of the ink cartridges is indicated in the error?
Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.
Is the printer enrolled in Instant Ink? Are you using Instant Ink cartridges in the printer?
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge
If the error persists, you may have to use an alternative ink cartridge to conclude if this is a defective ink cartridge or a hardware issue with the printer.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.

HP 4650 printer constantly gives error.... power cycled the printer, cleaned contacts.
Cartridge has printed 4 pages... it's essentially brand new and is an HP cartridge bought from Staples.
Cannot print test page, copy, clean heads, firmware up to date, cannot pick any option the error constantly interrupts and you can't do anything.
I'm not a member of the subscription service... I needed things printed today. Tomorrow morning I'm going to staples to print there and probably toss this piece of garbage in the trash. Is there an actual solution to this problem or "go buy another expensive cartridge" the only thing I'm going to hear?

I understand your concern.
Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.
If you have tried the steps from this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge, and the error persists, this could either be an issue with the ink cartridge or the printer. To conclude, you may either use an old ink cartridge or get a new one.
If you have used 2 ink cartridges and get the same error, then we can conclude the hardware failure with the printer. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
