Hi, my printer is in a constant state of restarting itself every 20 seconds with the "Service error 79" message in between restarts.
I've tried clearing the print queue in case it's a corrupted print job (if there is a way to do this without going to each computer that has sent it a document though, I'm all ears as I don't have access to all the laptops that have tried printing from this printer) via the print queue on my laptop.
I've also tried updating the drivers. This doesn't work however because the printer restarts itself before the network drivers can be installed, interrupting the process. For this same reason, the "hp print and scan doctor", along with the "hp smart app" wont work.
I tried updating the drivers through a corded connection from my printer to my laptop, but once again, the constant restarting of the printer keeps any updates from completing.
Power cycling has also shown to be ineffective, as the restarting and service error resume immediately.
