When turning OFF all WS related services in the printer keeps online. When turning on the printer reboots every 2 minutes with 79 service error. When connecting to an other router there is no issue. Seems Mikrotik network / firewall related blocking something.
Where can i get a older firmware?

@Azertie, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The 79 Service Error on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M183fw especially when it causes reboot loops, can indeed be frustrating. Based on your description, it seems the issue is triggered by a network-related conflict, likely due to how the Mikrotik router handles certain protocols or firewall rules.
Since you mentioned the issue disappears on a different router, here are a few steps that have helped others in similar situations:
Disable Web Services (WS) on the Printer:
- From the printer control panel, go to Network Settings > Web Services.
- Disable Web Services, ePrint, and Cloud Print if enabled.
- This often prevents the reboot loop caused by network pings or HP cloud communication.
Assign a Static IP Address:
- On your Mikrotik router, assign a static DHCP lease to the printer’s MAC address.
- Alternatively, set a static IP directly on the printer (e.g., 192.168.88.50).
- This avoids IP conflicts or DHCP lease renewals that may trigger the error.
Disable Unused Protocols:
- In the Mikrotik firewall or DHCP options, try disabling IPv6, mDNS, or WS-Discovery if not needed.
- Some users have reported success by disabling UPnP or IGMP Proxy.
HP does not officially provide older firmware versions for download.
Factory Reset (Optional):
- If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset:
- On the printer, go to Setup > Service > Restore Defaults.
- Reconfigure network settings manually after reset.
