Hello,

My printer totally ignores the margins that I put on microsoft Word (I need only a 2.5 cm left margin).
I tried to convert the word document in PDF and print it from Chrome, Edge and Adobe Acrobat but nothing.
Also, when I print front/back, the front is not aligned with the back: in fact, all the front pages have a big upper margin, no lower margin and a huge left margin, while the back pages have tiny left margin and (apparently) 2 cm upper and lower margin. I tried as said in this topic (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Problem-with-margins/m-p/6988384), and now the 2.5 cm left margin is respected, but I still have problems because front/back is not yet aligned and I have these different margins top/bottom.

Anyone can help?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I've noticed that the problem with up/bottom margins is only when I print with front/back mode. So I tried to print first all the odd and then the even pages. For the up/bottom this works, but with left margins they are different in every page I print, like the printer has no idea of where to print.

Hello!

Sorry for the late answer. My printer now works good but I still have the same problem with automatic front/back printing: when I print with HP settings, the upper margin for odd pages is huge while for the even pages is normal. This problem can be solved by printing only odd pages and then even pages, but it's quite annoying since you have to verify you put the pages in the correct order. I would like to use HP automatic front/back printing, but the pages are not the same!

Any other suggestion?

Thanks for your help

Thanks for replying!

Refer to the document HP Printers - How to Print on Both Sides of the Paper for help on printing double-sided. Also, you can try using the Windows built-in drivers to see if that helps-

Follow the steps below:

•    Go to Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.

•    When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.

•    Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.

Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help.

Keep me posted.
