HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer series
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I completed the instant Print on line and all seems ok but the printer dashboard documents "The printer should receive confirmation soon." Nothing happen appears to be happening.  I have waited over 30 minutes. What should I do?  Just wait?

I do not know if the printer is set up  or not. The set up went smoothly up to this point.

Thanks

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

As I understand the dashboard appears stuck on "the device in configuring this printer",

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Have you attempted to restart the printer? as that should resolve such issues.

Is this related to the Instant Ink program? Is you printer registered?

If this is regarding a printer running on Instant Ink cartridges,

there are a few things, I'll need to help you out.
