How would IE11 affect the front panel of the printer????

Probably you are using Internet Explorer11, I have the same problem with that.
When using Google Chrome it works well, I think with Intenet Explorer 10 too.

I'm sorry sabretooth, it is concerning the post from theshark having the winipv4 page error when using the embedded webserver. Have replied it to theshark again.

Ah, okay.  Haven't seen IE11 cause this issue... yet... on EWS but you never know.

I can confirm that IE 11 gives that error. I ran into the same issue testing Windows 10 (built in IE11) and got the same message as the original poster explained.

Opened up Firefox, tried again, and no issues.

My front panel also broke (before the warranty expired) - but shipping to service center wasn't cost effective. And no, I'm not going to get a new printer either. I'll make this work until every piece of it dies, and it won't be replaced with another HP for sure. I've only used HP printers when they used to build them to last. Sadly, they are now throw away items. My HP laptop (motherboard) died just after the warranty expired, but that's another topic. *sigh*

Thank you, Burrie and AcaCandy!  Tried everything EXCEPT a new browser.  That was the answer I needed.

Google Chrome worked from me. Thank you for the suggestion.

If you are still unable to set a static IP, here's how I set mine.  I tried  managing the printer through the IP address in both Firefox and Internet Exploder and got the same error message you described.  I right clicked the Firefox icon on desktop and clicked "Run as administer"  Opened Firefox, entered the IP address of my D110 and set the static IP and it worked.  Hope this solves your problem.
