Hi Marx51,
In one of my previous posts to you I had requested you perform a copy. Can you please let me know what happens when you copy? I would like to ensure the issue is not the printer itself before we get too deep into software troubleshooting.
Do you have the printer connected to a wall outlet for power or a surge protector?
Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector
In this document you will see,
ISSUE:
Please keep me posted. Thanks.

Hi Marx51,
Not a stupid question at all. Anything really. Something that is a full page. I want to see if the printer will print the whole page without an issue.

Hi Marx51,
Thanks for that. It seems to me the issue is somehow related to the software or something on the computer. Please use the steps below and let me know how it works out.
- Hold down the Windows Logo key (
) on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type %temp%
- Delete all files and folders from the temp folder. Choose skip if any pop ups appear saying any of the files could not be deleted
- Uninstall the software again - Uninstalling the Printer Software Instructions
- When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
- Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
- Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
- In the Open box, type msiexec /unregister, and then click OK.
- Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
- In the Open box, type msiexec /regserver, and then click OKIf you have any difficulty with this step, please use this link to perform it another way. Restarting Windows Installer

- Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
- Restart the computer
- Restart the Print Spooler, use the instructions from this post > Restart print spooler
- Download and run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows
The HP Printer Install Wizard for Window was created to help Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 users download and install the latest and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP Printer.

Sunsunshyn good morning ..I tried and did what you told me to do , it appears to be abit better . Im sending a scan of the image I tried printing ..the image was 8 x 10 and it was printed on 8.5 x 12 . I used the letter size setting , it only prints 8.75 of the image and it starts at the edge of paper

Hi Marx51,
I am glad to hear we are making progress. I am a little puzzled though, you said the image you printed was 8 x 10, printed on 8.5 x 12, but the print page size you selected was letter (8.5 x 11).
What size do you want the print to be, do you want it to be borderless? What program are you printing from? I know you are probably eager to get this resolved, but please bear with me.
You said the image, are you printing a photo? Do you experience an issue printing a document?
I look forward to hearing from you, thanks for your patience.

thank you Sunshyn for your patience .... yes the image I`m trying to print is 8 x 10 and the paper was 8.5 x 12 and I had the page size set for letter..it doesnt matter if I use the legal size setting it will only print about 8.75 of the 10 inch side either vertical or horizontal .I dont print borders . I use photoshop and it doesnt seem to affect a document only pictures .. maybe a couple drops on the floor will straighten it out
