I am have the same problem as many people on this forum, that in the printer propertes all the boxes are empty and can not be changed and others have strange characters that change every time I look. I have carried out all the sugestions that have been made including the level 4 uninstalation, this is on three machines so I do not believe that it is a corrupt driver. If this cannot be rectified I will have to buy a new printer and it will not be HP!!

Regards Stuart

I have just done that after I sent my last post and, yes that rectifies the problem, but it is not great that I have to change everything to the USA so keyboard is now wrong. Is this a windows problem?

Check the language settings on the computer to see if this will fix the issue.

Go to the start up screen, (tiles menu) type in  "Control Panel", click on control panel and then double click on Regional Settings or Region and Language, change the language there to English United States.  Not UK.

Check out the properties now.

Not sure.   Contact Microsoft and ask.
