HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

I'm unable to print following a 'supply system problem' .

It happened immediately after I changed new ink cartridges. The yellow cartridge didn't seem to go in as well. I'm pretty careful and follow the instructions correctly and have changed many cartridges before with no problems.

(I'm going to try and get a refund on the ink from target and get new cartridges in case that might work.)

But I contacted HP support and they basically said the printer is dead.  They did not offer to refund/replace my ink. They spent most of the phone call selling me a new one.  I like this printer but if one small thing totally destroys it then I'll have to rethink HPs.

Does anyone have any advice or tips? (Assuming that the next batch of cartridges don't work either.)
