I need some help, I can print from my laptop via a USB cable fine and from my Iphone wirelessly but I have tried to set up my laptop for a wireless print and it use to work but since  I moved house it is unable too.

I have checked the blue light and the IP address and the actual printer confirms it is connected successfully  to WIFI with a good signal strength but I just cannot print.

There is clearly something happened to my laptop. Can anyone help me please?

My operating system is Windows 10 home .  My printer  is a Deskjet  3632 . I don't know why I couldn't enter that into the  titles above  but for some reason I couldn't . I am having this same issue. I have installed the software and drivers several times. I am ready to pitch this printer out the window. I am on a home network and it installed as a network printer but I can't print from my laptop. Last night I wanted to print something and when I looked at the printers and devices there were two printers like mine showing  1 showed as a network printer and the other just showed as a regular printer if I chose that one it printed okay but using the network one it's not okay. I can't find any way to install it other than installing it as a network printer. I too have spent hours and hours trying to get this thing fixed over the last two and a half days I'm so tired of it. I hope someone can help. I have had this printer for over a year with no problems so any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Again this morning I have spent about 3 hours on this printer and still no luck.  If it connects as wireless to the home network it won't print from my laptop which is also connected to the home network.  If I uninstall everything and put it back with the USB cable attached then I can print.  I then follow the steps to turn it from USB to wireless then it won't print.  I just don't understand it.

While installing and I get to what appears to be the end of it which is the HP Connect thing there is no link to contine or finish or whatever and when I click on the X to close it, it says it's not completed yet then the merry-go-round just keeps going around.  I've been around aboout 20 times I think and I want to get off. Do I need to go out and buy a new printer when this is perfectly good?

Hi Rachel (I have a lovely granddaughter named Rachel)

I think I got it!!!  I uninstalled everything once againthat related to the HP printer and went to the HP Smart which is in the start programs list under your HP things.

Before I did anything, I put the printer cable into the laptop and into the printer   Then I opened that HP Smart App and followed the instructions there for installing it and it seems to be working fine.  I didn't hook up the Wi-Fi Direct or the HP Connected because I don't really need that right now.  I just connected it to my laptop and when it was done it said to remove the cable which I did and printed 2 different documents which printed perfectly so fingers crosseded it seems to have worked.  Good Luck.  If I can be of any help just add a message here and I should get an email to say there is a new message.  Have a nice day.
