I am unable to print from both my windows based laptop.
The printer just does not respond. I can see the item in the print queue.
I am however able to print from my daughters Chrome book or from iphone.
I have deleted and re-installed the printer. I have also used the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that printer is not responding while printing, I am glad to assist you.
Did you uninstall the printer from the root level, before installing the new driver?
If not, follow these steps:-
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
