Hi,
I got brand new HP Deskjet 3760 yesterday, originally packed with original cartridge that are well attached on correct locations, both black and color. Somehow managed to download and install the software. Scanning works well but printing doesn't work. Nothing is printed, regardless which software for text typing I'm using, even Paint for images.
I'm using usb cable and the power cable are both connected just fine. I already tried Restarting Print Spooler service but it did not work.Neither of the lights on printer are blinking.
After a very long time of waiting for something to be printed (e.g. 10+ minutes) I sometimes (not always) get error message from taskbar (print queue window) of Windows 10 64bit says Error in printing but there is no error code.
I firstly made sure that correct carriages are on correct positions, well attached. They are new with full color level, arrived with brand new printer.
Power is OK because the button has a light on the printed.
At this time I cannot 100% confirm whether correct drivers are correctly installed because of not knowing how to check this. I tried reinstalling but it didn't work. There is no reported error in Device Manager.
I replaced old HP printer (deskjet f2480) with that new one which I touched today for the first time (deskjet 3760). Old printer is already thrown away into the trash and I'm starting to worry that I replaced and wasted money for nothing and threw away old printer for nothing. The reason is because the problem (scanning works, printing doesn't) is the same which might indicate that something is wrong with my computer. However, the only positive news here indicating that money investment into new printer was really required is the fact that I had no way to get rid of blinking lights on my old printer which I don't want to be discussing anymore. Here on new printer there are fortunately currently no blinking lights.
I have already tried to reconnect either or both of the cables but did not work.
Also installed and used HP Print and Scan Doctor. After a long process I saw the message ''some issues were found and fixed'' and I tried test print directly from HP Print and Scan Doctor directly but it did not work. So I clicked button No Print. I also saw in this same window a green mark near Driver Check which means drivers might be OK. Then I tried printing, in this tool, so called Internal Test Page whatever this means. Nothing was printed.
I confirm that entries Pause Printing or/and Use Printer Offline in print queue window are NOT selected.
Based on assumption that printing is being done to default printer only, I made sure that printer in question is set to default and also made sure it's really checked from Print window of whatever printing software. Neither one nor another helped.
Tried to change USB port, still didn't work.
What else could I do? Would appreciate some help please. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
Let's try printing a Printer Status Report from the printer:
https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c04617078
Does the printer print the internal report or not?
If not, please also unplug the USB cable from the printer and restart it, then try printing the report again.
If that fails, please clarify what exact behavior occur to better understand what is going on in here.
Also, have you tried using another USB cable? a faulty cable may cause such behavior too.

@ShlomiL it doesn't print anything. It only scans. Removing any cable, either electric or USB doesn't work.
I didn't try using any other printer belonging cable. Only original one that came in the package of the printer+scanner I bought. Since like I wasted the money for nothing. The warranty, either replacement or money-back might be still valid. I haven't used it yet. I had to give up on previous printer because I couldn't watch three blinking lights on previous printer anymore that prevented anything to be printed. Same problem on new printer. It has passed 9 days since I got it delivered and around 14 days since my payment. Still cannot print a single page or a single word regardless of which writing/graphic software (e.g. word, notepad, painter, adobe acrobat pdf, etc.) do I use.
