This printer was using ink HP 122. Since this is not available any longer I have been advised to use ink HP 301. After installing these, both ink indicators are flashing! Searching for solution on the WEB has given me information about help required from HP support to reconfigure the printer (to accept these cartridges). But I am not able to find out how to get this support. Please advise. Of course the warranty has expired for this old printer.

Hi,

HP 122 ink cartridges should be available.

 

What country are you located in?

 

HP 122 cartridges are available and can be used in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and CIS, 301 ink cartridges are intended for use in Western Europe:

HP will reset your printer to another zone only if you've moved with your printer to another country.

Hello! Thanks for fast reply.

 

The printer was bought in Oman some years ago. Now I have the printer in Sweden. So, yes, I have moved to another zone. How to get the required support from HP? HP 122 seems not to be available in Sweden!
