My printer was working fine last weekend and then this weekend will not connect to the network. I keep getting the error WPA authentication method on your HP printer has been configured to a non-default setting.
I can connect to the network it is unsecured with no problems but not when it is secure.
I have a Verizon Fios router
Please help!
Thank you

My problem was fixed today by Verizon Fios support. During an update for the router the SON Self-Organizing Network was enabled and it was blocking my printer. I disabled it in the My Fios app and reconnected the printer and was able to establish a connection. Thank you

If you can connect to unprotected network that means communication is working. Likely the password/passcode has either been changed or corrupted and you will need to reenter the passcode that is used to connect to your wireless.

Hi,
Please make sure your printer firmware is up to date:
Additionally, I would check with Verizon what security settings may be changed with the latest update for FIOS, it seems there were some security changes as reported by multiple users:
For example, if it may add WPA3 authentication, this is not supported by the printer which supports WPA1/WPA2.

I suggest contacting Verizon and check what can be done, it seems to be caused due to any router configuration issue since the last update, or temporarily connect the printer with USB cable to the PC or with an ethernet cable to the router.
