D4160
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got mint condition unopened D4160 replacement for one that no longer works, but I cannot register it, as it says "warranty is expired". The old one's warranty expired years ago, but I thought I could register the replacement. Is this due to the product being no longer in production? I'm guessing this was store overstock, due to the condition of the box, but the printer was still wrapped with tape still on it - still sealed AOL CD😀 and ink cartridges with a 2007 expiration date. The serial numbers are different.

 

This isn't really an issue, as the the previous D4160 lasted for 10 years and I hope this one lasts as long, so warranty will be pointless, but I'm curious.🤔
