Hi @k9409,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code B305ED09 on an HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 printer typically indicates a printhead problem. This could be caused by a variety of issues, such as a clogged printhead, a malfunctioning printhead, or an issue with the printer's firmware.

To fix this issue, you can try the following steps.

  • Restart your printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Clean the printhead: Use the printer's cleaning utility to clean the printhead. You can access this utility through the printer's settings menu or software.
  • Replace the printhead: If cleaning the printhead doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to replace it. You can purchase replacement printheads from HP.
  • Update the firmware: Make sure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for firmware updates through the printer's settings menu or software,

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
