HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer

HP envy 6455E maybe used 6 times. I’m trying to print google docs from my phone with the app. It’s coming out BLANK after sounding like it’s printing

I understand your HP ENVY 6455e is printing blank pages, it could be due to a few different issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
 

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your ink cartridges have enough ink. Even if the printer is relatively new, sometimes the cartridges can be faulty or low on ink.
  • Inspect Cartridges: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and securely seated in their slots. Remove and reinsert them to ensure they’re connected correctly.
  • Clean the Printhead: The printhead might be clogged. Use the printer’s built-in cleaning utility to clean the printhead. You can usually find this option in the printer settings on the app or through the printer's control panel.
  • Print a Test Page: Try printing a test page or a diagnostic page from the printer’s settings menu. This can help identify if the issue is with the printer or with the specific document you’re trying to print.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve printing issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check App Settings: Ensure that the HP Smart app settings are correctly configured for your printer. Sometimes, settings in the app can affect the print output.
  • Use a Different Document: Try printing a different document or file to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is related to a specific file or application.
  • Restart Printer and Devices: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, and then plug it back in. Also, restart your phone and the app to ensure there are no temporary glitches.
  • Check Printer Drivers: If you're printing from a computer, make sure the printer drivers are up-to-date. You can download the latest drivers from HP’s website.
