So at 7/2/17 i got a message said 'Paper Jam',so i open the cartrige door and saw 1 piece of A4 paper stuck in the printing line,so i tried force to take it out and i pulled the encoder strip. Then i realised that the right end of the encoder strip(Rectangle part of the right) is ripped,i didnt want to pay and it is still covered by warranty, how do i fix this issue? This is an Officejet Pro 8715 (8710 said on computer)? I can still move the ink carrige and can power on the printer.

I see from the post that you are having issues with your HP OfficeJet printer. Don't worry I'll be really glad to help you with this,
After reviewing your post, I see that while removing the paper from the printer, accidentally you have pulled out the encoder strip, this is not a customer replaceable part. I would personally suggest you contact phone support for available service related options.
HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get the phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
