Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How do I find the WPS PIN for my Envy 5540 printer so I can connect with my Dell laptop.  I don't see it in any of the documentation.

The WPS PIN would normally be found on a sticker on your router.

OK.  I think I have found the solution.

 

When adding the printer, double-click on the printer icon.  DO NOT CLICK CLICK THE <OK>.

 

Bizarrely, this appears to have the affect of suppressing the WPS PIN dialogue and simply starts installing it.

I entered the router WPS PIN and it was unacceptable for adding this printer to the devices for the laptop.
