Error light says black cartridge so I replaced and it still says refer to device documentation and I don't know where to find it.  It isn't in my book.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Could you please share the picture of the error message?
  • Are you using a genuine HP ink cartridge?
