I just bought a used office deskjet 2752e and I cannot connect to its WiFi. I tried using the default 12345678 password and it did not work. I also tried printing the password with the info button several times, but it will only print 3 symbols. No words at all. 

anyone have any ideas?

If you bought it used it may be locked down. You can try the instructions provided in this Knowledge Base article to reset the wifi to out of box experience, which will then allow you to connect to a new wifi.  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Knowledge-Base/How-to-Restore-WiFi-Setup-mode-on-HP-printers-...

 

The default should also be printed on a sticker on the back of the printer.
