Hi @MartinLeibo ,
Thanks for the quick response.
I would suggest to contact HP's phone support team for further assistance.
HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:
* Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
* Enter Product number or select to auto detect
* Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. If you have any otger slutions to try I'd like to hear them. I have now reset my IP to Auto from Manual. Rebooted router, printer and MS Surface multiple times. Uninstalled drivers and package, still fails at the same point - Installing Network.......Don't have my notes in front of me, but it's the step after after I click the option for Wireless Installation.
Odd thing is, the system sees the Printer, Router sees the Printer
Cheers

Try the below steps:
- Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Temporarily disable firewall software on the computer.
- Uninstall the HP driver and software.
- Reinstall the HP software.
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.

Problem Solved - Antivirus & Firewall - deleted the application and worked fine. Installed HP drivers and software. Re-Installed Antivirus & Firewall, set firewall rulke to allow HP and printing and scanning like advertised.
Always the virus and firewall software
