Hi, I just install refillable ink cartridge on my HP Officejet Pro 8610 and it was printing very nice. But now the ink cartridges become empty I get a triangle icon on the ink levels. I know that the cartridges are full with ink and it still give me problem.
I want to get back the ink levels in funcion again. So I am asking you to give some hinds to get rid of this problem.
Where I live the HP Cartridges are too expensive and they don't last long.
Thanks

Hi, I think that the Yellow Exclamation point Error icon can not be remove from the printer display.
But you still can print and you have to pay attentions before you print for the ink levels on each cartridge.
My cartridges are HP 951 XL and HP 950 XL so they will last longer than a normal cartridge.
So I give over searching on the internet any solution for this problem.
I will stay with the Yellow Exclamation point Error icon on my printer display.
So far the printer is printing it is not a problem for me. I need the job done.
I got a lot of hint on the internet like this: With the printer on remove the printhead and turn the printer off.
Turn on the printer again and insert the printhead and this will solve the problem.
I did this not once but twice and the Yellow Exclamation point Error icon is still there.
Here I have an other hint:
Try a printer reset as below
1. Remove all ink cartridges from the printer
2. Remove the power cord from the outlet whilst the printer is still switched on.
3. Wait 5 minutes
4. Replace the power cord
5. Switch on
6. Install all the ink cartridges from the order when prompted by the printer
I did this several times and nothing. So I give up.
So if there are some user who has the same problem just give over.
Thanks.

Hi @Nino4856
Thank you for posting back.
As I informed earlier, HP doesn't recommend refilled ink cartridges and there is nothing much I can suggest apart from replacing the cartridge with genuine HP cartridge.
Refer to below document for more information on refilled cartridges.
Hope that answers your question.
Take care.

Thanks. But I have a problem still.
I install refillable ink cartridges in my HP Officejet Pro 8610 and I can print very nice.
But the problem is that the display shows Yellow Exclamation point Error icon.
I can’t get rid of that problem. I don’t see the ink level.
The reason why I install refillable ink cartridge is that they last longer than normal cartridges.
Genuine cartridges are expensive and they don’t last long.
I love my HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer and I want to do the best with it.
So I hope to get a good help so I can fix this problem soon.
I like HP, my computer is HP my printer is HP and the former printer also was HP.
My keyboard is HP my monitor is HP.
So let me know about this.
Thanks. Nino4856
