Whenever I attempt to do anything other than print in black, the printer screen displays: please use the setup cartridges that came with your printer.
I have contacted Japan support, to date the technicain there has been unable to connect to my computer and effect a solution.
He is supposed to contact me again.
Is there no way to obtain replacement set up cartridges?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Today I received a call from the Tokyo HP Support team. Despite the problem being caused by my clumsy damaging of the setup cartridge, they replaced my printer. I am really impressed with the service given me.
