I received a replacement printer two months ago after failure to regionalize my old one with customer support. I was told that they will take my old printer back but no shipping information was given ever since. In the email of the delivery of the replacement printer, it was stated that "It is important that you drop the defective unit to your recycle point." So should I drop the old printer to recycle point instead? Yet, I could not find any hp recycle point information in UK. Please kindly advise.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
