Recently, whenever I print a document on my printer there are lines of text missing. For example, if I printed a five line paragraph then the second and third lines of text would be missing.
I have done the alignment and print quality diagnostics and also cleaned the printheads. The ink levels are fine and I'm still using the same ink cartridges that came with the printer (so they are genuine HP ones). The printer is only four months old.
Any ideas?

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I understand the printed documents have lines of text missing and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:
Does it happen when you copy a document?
How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?
Could you also print a self test page and let me know if there are any text missing on the test page. In order to print he self test page:
1.) Press and hold the Power button, and then press the Cancel button .
2.) Let go of the Cancel button, and then the Power button.
Let me know!

Hi @omerali,
Since the self test page has lines, it's possible that its an issue with the ink cartridge. We might be able to resolve the issue by power resetting the printer and then performing an automated/manual cleaning. Here is how to do it:
Please ensure the printer is up-to-date with its firmware. If you are unsure, you can download and install the latest firmware update from here.
1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector
2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door
3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)
4) Clean the ink cartridges, refer to step 4 from this document.
5) Plug the power cord back into the printer
6) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.
7) Clean the ink cartridges using the software, refer to step 5 from this document.
Let me know how it goes!
