hp deskjet 3050 A - wireless will not connect, blinking blue light now, but used to be fine. Nothing changed, lap top is fine, but it is the printer which will not connect. Blue light used to be steady, now it blinks. White light used to blink, now it is out. I have tried turning everything off and on again and re-booting. It will only print if I manually plug the usb cable in.  I would like to reconnect wireless back again.  Thank You.

Need more info.  Make and model of router?  Blinking blue light means the printer is not connected to your routers SSID.  You need to reconnect the printer to your SSID.  Has anything changed????

I' am having the same problem.  I hold down the WPS button but it doesn't connect (says the WPs timed out).  My router is a piece due to cable companies requirements.  It's a Arris DG860.  Thank you for your help.

This same dynamic is happening to me as well.  I recently bought an Arris SB6121 modem to take advantage of the increased Comcast offerring.  I use a Linksys E4200 router.  My Deskjet 3054 printer now simply goes into a blue light flashing mode, and cannot find the network.  I tried all of the typical processes (rebooting all of the individual components, deleting and adding the printer on my MacBook - OSX 10.9.4, restored the printer to the factory defaults, etc.), but nothing works.  Indeed it is not finding the Network SSID.  I should add that I modified the name of the network during the modem install.

Since the software that came with the printer cannot be used (only valid for lesser OSX versions), and the software has been upgraded per Apple's auto upgrade process, I am at a loss now as to what to do.  Especially frustrating, as it has worked fine for the last two years...

Any insights or recommendations would be very much appreciated...thanks...

Correct, you are not connected to your SSID. You will need a USB cable and your CD/web software to connect to your router. Page 32 of the manual explains how to connect to your router via Traditional Wireless Connection. Please follow the manual to connect.

I have an HP Deskjet 3050A   J611 series wireless printer. I am using an HP Notebook 17 Pavilion. It worked until recently, but now it doesn't. The blue light is blinking now.

When I try to print I get a message that the printer in either offline or not turned on. It's on. It's set to Wireless On in the command window on the printer.

Please help me. If I need to redownload the driver, please send me a link to where I can get it.

Thank you so much for any help you can be.
