HP envy 7640
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hp envy 7640 will print if I type into notepad and hit control and p. The problem is when I try to print from the pictures folder a window pops up for sending a fax. I cannot print anything from the pictures folder.

I tried that to no avail. I also tried opening the picture in paint, paint.net, windows photo gallery, and Roxio. It still comes up to send a fax. I also tried highlighting the picture and just printing but I get the same thing. I deleted the printer software with Revo Uninstaller 3 times and reinstalled from HP support and I still can't print pictures.

Let's double-check that we have the right printer selected as default. How To: Change your default printer in Windows 7. I have a feeling the fax is selected as default.
