bought HP Officejet Pro 8120e and it will not finish set up it continues to have an error code

If you encounter an error code such as UU_400_EB000A9900 during the setup of your HP OfficeJet Pro 8120e, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Check the Printer Connection:

  • Make sure the printer is properly connected to a power source and your computer or network.
  • If connecting wirelessly, ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly and the printer is within range.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Go to the printer's control panel, navigate to settings, and reset the network settings.
  • Reconnect the printer to your network by following the instructions on the control panel.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Make sure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. Visit the HP support website to check for any available updates specific to your printer model.

Reinstall the Software:

  • If the error persists, uninstall the printer software from your computer and reinstall it using the latest version available on the HP support website.
