@mpf03, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet MFP M139we printer is showing “There is a problem with your account” and you're unable to print, this typically relates to HP+ account verification or Instant Ink subscription issues. Here's how to resolve it:

Check HP Account Status

  • Visit HP Smart and sign in with the same account used during printer setup.
  • Ensure your printer is listed under My Printers.
  • If not, click Add Printer and follow the prompts.

Verify HP+ Activation

  • The M139we is an HP+ printer, which requires:
    • An active HP account
    • Internet connection
    • Use of original HP ink/toner
  • Go to HP+ Setup Help to confirm your printer is properly activated.

Check Instant Ink Subscription

  • If enrolled in HP Instant Ink, log in to Instant Ink Dashboard and check for:
    • Payment issues
    • Expired subscription
    • Printer connectivity status

Reconnect Printer to HP Smart

  • Open the HP Smart app on your PC or mobile.
  • Remove the printer from the app.
  • Re-add it by clicking + Add Printer.
  • Ensure the printer is connected to Wi-Fi and shows online.

Reset Printer (if needed)

If the issue persists:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and power it on.
  • Reconnect to Wi-Fi and HP Smart.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
