HP LaserJet M110we Printer
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and older

I am receiving the same message that several people have reported:  "A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print."  I tried putting the machine on the HP server.  My wireless is connected.  I can't believe how much time I have spent trying to solve this problem.  I am NEVER buying an HP product again.

@NKB70, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The message you're receiving about a problem with printing can have several potential causes and solutions:

Check Printer Connectivity:

  • Ensure that the HP LaserJet M110we is properly connected to your wireless network. You can do this by checking the network settings on the printer to confirm it is connected to the correct network.

Verify Printer Status:

  • Look for any error messages or indicators on the printer's control panel. These messages can give you more information about the specific issue.

Restart Devices:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Try restarting both your printer and your wireless router.

Driver and Software Updates:

  • Check if there are any updates for the printer's drivers or software. You can find updates on the HP website by searching for your printer model.

Check for Paper Jam or Cartridge Issues:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams and that the ink or toner cartridges are properly installed.

Reconfigure Network Connection:

  • You may want to disconnect and reconnect the printer to the wireless network, ensuring that the password and network settings are correctly configured.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.

I have done all of these suggested steps. None has worked. I have replaced the USB cord. This printer has stopped its USB connection printing for no discernable reason. It is also connected to the proper wireless network. This is a deep software/hardware problem! I've lost two days trying to solve it!
