Well, I just got on the computer to print out a recipe off the internet and got the old Print Preview Error, "An error occured while printing".   When I try to print a document I have saved on my desktop I get a Microsoft Office Word error that says, "Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup".  Geeezzzz!!!  Why does this keep hapening????  I thought we had it fixed, but guess not.  HELP!!!!

I am having this same problem with my HP Officejet Pro 6830.  This printer was a replacement from HP after my old printer had problems with the printheads and was barely 1 year old.  Now when I try to print from my browser(FIrefox) I get the Print preview error, "An error occured while printing".  I have already used the HP Print and Scan Doctor and uninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers twice.  I should not have to go through this every time I want to print something.  That is not the normal function of a printer, and this just recently started happening.  I believe it is a manufacturing defect and I would like to know how to resolve this matter once and for all.

I tried the built in driver instructions but those were for Windows 10?  I have Vista.  I tried typing "Change device driver installaition", or whatever it said to type in, but nothing came up.  What am i doing wrong?  FYI - I am no computer guru if it isn't already obvious.  Thanks

Ok, the link you sent again is the same link I am having problems deciphering.  I cannot find "Change installation settings" when I try and do a search.    Here is a revised version of my reply I sent the first time I could not figure out what to do after opening that link and attempting to follow the instructions......

I opened the link and tried to follow the instructions but those were for Windows 10?  I have Vista.  I tried typing "Change device  installation settings", in the search window, but nothing came up.  Should i be typing something else since I have Vista 64?  What am i doing wrong?  FYI - I am no computer guru if it isn't already obvious.  Thanks
