Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Officejet  8600 showing " printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incortly installed' without printing.

Is it time to replace it or can be fixted?

If you have already followed the steps from the document A 'Missing or Failed Printhead' Displays for HP Officejet Pro 251dw, 276dw, and 8600 Printer and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
