Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello -
I've accessed the web service of my newly purchased MFP but default login(admin) is not working on it (HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw).
Could you please help my either reset the device to make the default login work or proivde the correct one.

Hi,

With the latest firmware, the default password is the WPS Security PIN, see below knowledge base article on this matter:

thank you a lot!

That works.
What really surprise me - that official support (Russia) was not able to help me within 3 hours and ask to wait till monday.

Moreover I do believe that this should be included into the device manual!
