Hello!
Im the Help Desk of a company and we've one of these cute Deskjet all in one printers. Its 2 years old now and has started making a heavy grinding noise, like rubber against rubber when scanning. Its also slow, but it only happens when scanning. Printing shows no noises at all.
Using the cleaning option and the troubleshooting option that comes with the software did not solve the situation. Do these printer require lubrication after a certain amount of time?

Hi Sandytechy20, I've tried updating the firmware. It was indeed needing one, however, that did not solve the issue.
The steps to clean the printer rollers did not help either, as the issue is not the printer, but the scanner.
