Thank you so much for this!  It is really incredible that neither HP nor Apple provided the solution.  This worked for me.  I have had my computer since November of last year and this is the first time I have been able to use Easy Scan.  Cheers to you!

Another user found the solution!  Look for the post under user justken87.  It has images and step by step instructions on how to get the scanner working.  I was successful using their strategy.  Best wishes to you.

Greetings fellow Monterey Scanners -- The best fix for any scanner, not just HP, that I have found is a bit of software called VueScan.  It is $40.  Works like a charm.  Nice people.

I have tried this and still no luck. None of the scan options work, including image capture with our MFP M127fw printer.
