After upgrading to Mac OS Ventura, HP easy scan fails to download pdf to computer;  image is seen in scan app, but document is blank.

The scan option found in settings - printers and scanners - "select printer" - open scanner works and the document is saved.

This is not an acceptable solution.  I want to use the EasyScan app.  Is there a patch for this?  Other setting changes on my Mac?  Thanks

I have exactly the same issue. I can see scanned document on the screen but when exported to PDF the document is blank. 

If I export JPEG then that is fine - bit no use to me. 

What I did to work around the problem is output to a printer and then save as PDF rather that printing. Also choosing a searchable PDF seemed to work.

thanks Mike for corroborating.  It must be a loss of association between HP and Acrobat created by Ventura.  HP people reviewing this thread:  Please address the issue.  You've got a problem, which means we are not happy.....thanks, Norm

Long term preservation (PDF/A)

works

 

I’m using that until HP sorts itself out.

I have the same problem. Saving as searchable PDF works.

using option Long term preservation (PDF/A) yes it works, but in my case, only for single page.

If I scan multiple pages, only the first page displayed but the rest is blank. 

did anyone experience the same thing ?
