I wish to use my m277dw laser printer as a scanner and I cannot see how to scan several pages into one document.
I've looked at the handbook but nothing answers my question apart from reference to 'advanced settings' which I couldn't find in my cljm scan driver software programme.
Should I be using another programme?
I've noticed on the forum that a lot of people have a similar problem but I haven't been able to find an answer which helps with this particular printer model.

Hi,
I understand you are looking for a method to scan multiple pages and save them as one document.
If you click the scan button on the right bottom of your interface windows, after the first page scan finished, you can find it as below one. Then click "+" on the left bottom of the interface windows, it will scan the next page, when you finish all the pages scanning, then click "save", these pages will be saved into one document.
Hope this helps.

Hi @jesshove,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you are wondering how to scan several pages into one document, with your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw. I am happy to help!
Some questions for you:
- What is the Operating System you are using? Windows or Mac? What version? If you do not know the Operating System you are using, please visit this website. Whatsmyos.
- What is the name of the program you are using for scanning?
If possible, can you take a screenshot of the scanning program you are using, and post the image for me? How to take and post a screenshot on HP Support Forum.
Please see this post, Want Good Answers? Ask Good Questions, by @Bob_Headrick, so you can get the most out of these forums.
Once I know this information, I will be able to look into this further for you!
Thank you for posting, and hope to hear from you soon!

Hi,
Can this model perform an automatic duplex scanning?
I'm using MAC, yosemanti
If not, please recommend another color laser printer that can offer Duplex automatic scanning and it's with the same office space.

This works fine when I scan 8.5 x 11 documents. However, I need to use a custom size of 6.25 x 9.5. After scanning the first page, the plus sign (+) icon at the lower left is grayed out, and cannot be selected to add another page to the PDF document.
I have hundreds of pages of historical documents that need to be scanned into multi -page PDF documents.
Please help me with a solution for this problem. Thank you!
