Photosmart 6520
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

I have downloaded and installed all the drivers.  I have run the print and scan doctor. I have unplugged and restarted numerous times.  My wifi is working fine.  My IP address is updated/correct.  It won't scan at ALL, not to email, not to the computer, not to an SD card.  Printing is working fine.

PLEASE HELP!

Thank you!

Ann

Hi @AEB424, welcome back to the HP Forums!

I would be happy to help you scan. Since you can not scan to an SD card, in addition to not being able to scan to the computer, I can't help but wonder if the issue has to do with the printer hardware. Are you able to perform a standalone copy? If you can not perform a copy, we will need to shift focus to the hardware. If you can copy, I will gladly help you continue troubleshooting the issue.

Let me know, thanks.

Hi, thanks for your response and your suggestion. Nope, no copying either.  Guess I'm going shopping! 🙂  Thanks again - now I can stop wasting my time on this issue.

Oddly enough my all in one suddenly stopped scanning too. I have unplugged. Checked the wifi. Updated software. I tried to run the scan doctor but it doesn't see the scanner. It is so weird. Now I have to decide if I want to ever go with HP again. Very frustrating.
