I can scan a document to my home laptop just fine but when I try to scan to my work laptop that I just received last week the display says that I need to open software on my pc...My home laptop has the HP Assistant box that I click to open but don't see any link to forward the HP Assistant to my work laptop to "open".
My work laptop can print without any problem. I can scan to both work and home email good too. But scan to work computer is not working..
How do I get the needed software or link onto my work laptop to open for the HP printer/scanner to find. Both are Windows 10.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
You need to install this software package: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories
First download, close all programs and then run the installation.
