So I have the same issue as everyone here. My HP Officeject 7410 All-in-One stopped scanning after my upgrade to Sierra.
Earlier in this thread, someone said the update for Sierra 10.12.1 would fix the issue. Well, that update came today, but did not fix it for me.
The HP driver page for the 7410 only goes up to Mac OS 10 .11. No update there. Maybe my 7410 is just too old?
The ONLY solution that works me is the VueScan software, but I'd love to not have to spend $50 to fix something that I think should be fixed by HP or Apple.
I'm still waiting and hoping HP will come through and the updated driver will pop up on the driver page, but I'm getting discouraged.
Any new solutions or feedback would be appreciated. Even hearing from someone at HP that they are at least aware of the issue and working on it would be nice.
Thanks.

Have you tried to connect from your broser?
Type in the scanners IP address, something like 192.168.1.111
If the scanner have a webinterface you can controll your scanner from that interface and do the scannings you need until new drivers from HP is released.
VueScan have a free version that puts a watermark on the scan.
Good Luck
