We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I should add that in Preferences, originally the Scan function did not work when I tested it. So I deleted the printer from the list, then re-added it. The driver version shown in the expanded panel still showed 2.0.4 - I'll assume that is the firmware version.

 

in HP Easy Scan, I re-selected the printer but no luck.

I am sitting here totally perplexed at this moment. 

 

My previous post was that what was provided to us all by our pal "Fossette" worked for me immediately,. 🙂

 

However, now I am BACK where I started and cannot find anyway whatsoever to scan docs to ANY location on my iMac running Sierra OSX. Flustered and no idea where to start, AGAIN! (Which I just tried those steps all over again and still NOTHING for being able to get a SCANNED DOC ONTO MY SYSTEM - TO SEND WHEN IN DIRE NEED TO ALSO! 😞

Did you read what I did? In Preferences/Printers, I deleted the printer. Then I added it. Scanning only worked once I did that. I never could get Easy Scan to work.

 

The only suggestion I have for you is:

 

- in Preferences/Printers, remove the printer

- in HP Easy Scan remove the printer

- download the latest drivers and re-install them

 

--- restart your computer

 

- go to Preferences/Printers, add the printer, see if scan works

- ditto for Easy Scan

 

If that fails, find an old Mac and use it. I have an old one around running I think Snow Leopard, scanning works fine with it.

C7280 All in One prints just fine but no longer will scan with Easy Scan 1.8.0. Error message says:HP Photosmart C7200 series is currently unavailable. Ensure your device is powered on, check the connection, and ensure your network is functioning properly. If these conditions are correct, restart the device and try scanning again. I have done all of that and it did not resolve problem. Help please?

Did you read my two recent posts? Easy Scan not working in Sierra but you can use Scan from Printer panel in Settings.
