Since all is us experienced the issue around the same time, not related to a specific firmware update - it makes me wonder if the issue is actually on the HP networking and backend services side. 

HP please provide a fix for this ASAP!

My printer (OfficeJet 9020) has started working again all of a sudden today.  Shortcuts are once again available as an option on the printer and they work as the did before 🙂

Shortcuts are showing up for me again on my printer - I can see accounts in the Accounts list in the Advanced Settings/EWS as well!

 

Only thing I'm having a hard time with now is that scanning to Google Drive does not work via the shortcuts. I created a new shortcut to send directly via email, and that works. I can use the Google Drive shortcut via the HP Smart app from my phone and laptop and they both upload successfully. The issue is only when I use the Google Drive via the shortcuts launched on the printer itself. I've tried a number of troubleshooting steps this morning - curious if anyone else uses this shortcut and is still having issues as well.

Amazing that it took so long but they are back and working fine for me on 9015. Haven't tried on my 9018 which is a different location. 8030 never had an interruption.

Don't use the G-drive shortcut. Works fine with my Dropbox shortcut. Did you put in all the login details to allow auth on the G-drive side?

Yes. I even deleted the HP Smart connection authorization through my Google account settings and re-established them. Deleted, recreated the shortcut. Created a new folder in Drive to point to that. Revoked access to shortcuts and synced again. Recycled the power on the printer. This seems like an issue on the back end when the printer queues the jobs vs. when they're queued from other devices. I can scan directly from the Google Drive app on my printer, but it's much slower with fewer options (less DPI, etc.).

 

Anyway, it's probably a new Support case for me to submit (yay!), but I figured I'd drop that info in here in case anyone else runs into it.

Same issue here.  Google drive uploads not working, yet it all goes through as if it worked fine.  Just no docs in google.

 

wish i noticed this before I spent hours scannng docs 😞
