Hi,
Could you clarify your intention with "only Jpg and basic pdf file types are available", but you would like to save as PDF format?
What do you mean by Basic PDF comparing to PDF? or may you have any problem to launch the PDF file?
Please clarify your intention with more details to better understand it in context.
Shlomi

Sorry for not clarifying in my earlier post, when I save files in basic pdf format each page saved separately in case of multiple pages need to be saved. It’s creating problem to save multiple pages as single file. It should give option to save pdf file type instead of basic pdf format.
thanks

When you scan with HP Smart, click the Add / Plus sign to scan additional pages:
Only once you are done with the scan job click the Save button and select PDF, it will be saved as a multi-page file.
Please make sure you use the software correctly, if you may start a new scan job for each page it will result separate PDF files as you describe, Basic PDF is PDF, its indicate that no OCR capabilities are included (Searchable PDF).
Please let me know if that helps,
Shlomi

Thanks for your reply Slomi
I had scanned multiple pages at once and saved as basic pdf, automatically each page get saved separately. It’s not me scanning and saving each file separately. Don’t know why this behaviour.
