Sorry for not clarifying in my earlier post, when I save files in basic pdf format each page saved separately in case of multiple pages need to be saved. It’s creating problem to save multiple pages as single file. It should give option to save pdf file type instead of basic pdf format. thanks
When you scan with HP Smart, click the Add / Plus sign to scan additional pages:
Only once you are done with the scan job click the Save button and select PDF, it will be saved as a multi-page file.
Please make sure you use the software correctly, if you may start a new scan job for each page it will result separate PDF files as you describe, Basic PDF is PDF, its indicate that no OCR capabilities are included (Searchable PDF).
