i get this message over and over again, after uninstall and reinstalling the driver, restarting PC, plugin and plugout the cables... nothing works!

Found something usefull: 

 

go to the following location C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Inside \etc you will find the "hosts" file. Click on properties and make sure that
the file does not have "Read Only" set.
Open "hosts" using notepad. 
Underneath 127.0.0.1 local host,
insert 192.168.1.254 HP97D4C3

Reboot.

how can I find out what program has control of hp imaging so I can get rid of it, I can print off the pc but cant copy or scan from the printer
