Bought and set up HP OfficeJet 8022 All-in-one printer yesterday at 10am EST. Ink alignment and initial test prints went well, no problems.
Later that evening, when attempting additional prints, the printer failed to print and stated that it was offline. To counter this issue, I simply opened the front flap, where one accesses the ink cartridges. That seemed to miraculously fix the issue, and allow the print to continue.
Tonight, however, the latest attempt to print failed. Now the screen on the printer shows the power icon (circle with line through the top) and the phrase "D000DEAD" underneath. Print jobs are not going through. Not sure what to do or how to fix the issue.
This machine is under a standard 12-month warranty. No physical harm has come to the printer, and there were no issues when setting up the printer for use.
